These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Volotix platform, operated by Volotix ("Volotix", "we", "us"), a marketplace connecting guests with hosts offering short-stay accommodation in Pakistan. By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to these Terms.
"Guest" — a user who books accommodation through Volotix. "Host" — a user who lists and offers accommodation. "Listing" — accommodation offered by a Host. "Booking" — a confirmed reservation. "Services" — the Volotix website, apps, and related services. Volotix provides the marketplace technology; the accommodation contract is between the Guest and the Host.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Hosts must complete identity verification (CNIC and a selfie) before listing; guests may be asked to verify identity before their first payment.
Prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). Volotix charges no fee to Guests or Hosts. Payment for a booking is made by the Guest directly to the Host's bank account, using the details the Host has provided; Volotix does not collect, hold or transmit booking payments and is not a party to the payment. Volotix records the booking and provides the Host with the Guest's payment receipt so the Host can confirm the payment was received. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy for cancellations.
Hosts are responsible for their Listings and properties. Hosts confirm they have the right to host paying guests, that their Listing is accurate, and that they comply with applicable laws including safety and tax obligations. Hosts set their price, availability, house rules, and cancellation policy (Flexible or Strict).
Guests must use the property only for the booked stay, follow the Host's house rules and guest limit, and take care of the property.
Guests are responsible for any damage they or their guests cause. Where damage occurs, Volotix may help the Host and Guest reach a resolution; the amount payable depends on the extent of the damage, assessed case by case.
You may not use the Services for unlawful purposes, circumvent fees by transacting off-platform, misrepresent your identity, or interfere with platform security. Smoking, parties, and any illegal activities on a property are strictly prohibited unless expressly permitted by the Host. Volotix may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these rules.
Guests and Hosts may post reviews and content. You keep ownership of your content but grant Volotix a licence to display and use it to operate and promote the Services. Content must be honest, lawful, and your own.
Volotix may, but is not obligated to, help mediate disputes between Guests and Hosts. Volotix is not a party to the accommodation contract.
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties except as required by law. To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Pakistan, Volotix's total liability for any booking is limited to the amount, if any, paid to Volotix in respect of that booking. Nothing here removes rights you have under Pakistani law.
We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these Terms or the law. You may close your account at any time, subject to any open bookings and obligations.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or by posting on the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and disputes are subject to the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
